Thursday Night Tri's - Rochester
Our popular Thursday Night Tri's are back starting on Thursday, June 1st, 2017 at 6:30 pm. Please arrive ahead of time to set up and be ready to start the swim at 6:30pm. TNTs are not timed, they are not intended to be a race but rather a great chance for all of us to put in a good workout and practice transitions. If you have never done a triathlon, this is a really good way to get ready for your first one.
TNTs will continue through July. Each week we'll have a suggested distance for the swim, bike, and run legs, although you are free to modify to suit your personal workout needs. We plan to have some bike racks set up each week so you can get real practice going through your transitions. Also, each week we have a person to watch the bikes while the participants are swimming and running. If you can help with this, please contact a board member to volunteer to be a bike watcher for a given date.
These have been great fun over the last few years so we hope to get some good turnouts again this year!
Location: Foster Arend Park, Rochester, MN. Meet in grassy area near the north park entrance
Dates: Thursdays at 6:30pm starting June 1st, 2017, and continuing through July.
