The heat at Waseca last year was enough to keep some people away from this awesome small-town race. Waseca offers both a sprint and a unique 1/3 Iron distance race. The long course is the brainchild of Bill Nevala, the creator of the Waseca triathlon. Bill believed that the step from the Olympic distance to a Half Iron was a big leap (it is!) and added a stepping stone race with the 1/3 Iron at Waseca. For this year, we were served up much better conditions: temps in the 60s, cloudy with an intermittent mist). Nice job to all of our club members who completed this race!
