Note:
Come get ready for your upcoming races! We are kicking off our practice triathlons this week. Whether you are signed up for your very first race or are a seasoned triathlete, these practice tri's are a great way to establish a routine, improve your transitions, or get experience swimming in open water in a group. Also, if you think you might be interested in doing triathlon or joining TriRochester, we encourage you to come participate in our practice tri's, or even just come to watch.
When: Thursday's in June and July at 6:30pm (starting on June 1st, 2017)
Where: Foster Arend park in Rochester (East river road, off of 37th Street)
Details: See our TNT page
Our transition area will be in the grass near the NE corner of the parking lot. Come early to get your area set up. We will walk down to the lake and start the swim as a group at 6:30pm. If you questions about the sport, getting ready for a race, the club, or want help setting up your transition area please ask. We will be there early to setup and answer questions.
Let's get the season going with a TriRochester Happy Hour!
When: Thursday, May 11th at 6:30pm
Where: The Freight Yard (821 Cicic Center Drive)
Hope to see you there.
We have a special offer for 2017 membership. At the Southeast MN Tri Night on February 9th, we are offering free membership! Just come by and talk to us and we'll sign you up for free. Easy as that. The event is sponsored by TerraLoco and is at their store on 16th St SW starting at 7pm on Thursday 2/9. You can find all the details on their facebook page. Hope to see you there!
Our Summer Timetrial series starts this week on Tuesday, August 2nd, and continues for 4 weeks. The fourth week will once again be our "Hill and Grill" where we have a shorter hill timetrial followed by a grill-out in the park. (By the way, these are free and if you can't make the whole series that's no excuse not to come for at least one.)
We will be meeting up at the parking lot on the trail in Douglas, MN. We will start at 6pm with the first rider. All of the details can be found on our Summer Time Trial page.

For our social get-together this month we'll be meeting Sunday morning for homemade scones and coffee followed by hundreds of drinks! Time: 7:15 am May 29th. Place: 7th Street NE (east of Silver Lake Dr NE - https://goo.gl/maps/Xsw6CybKooR2) Yeah, that is on the side of the road and it is also known as the water stop near mile 11 on the MedCity Marathon course, but it will be fun. Think of it as multitasking!
We are still looking for more people to help out with the water stop, so bring a friend. No experience needed.
Our Spring bike time trial series starts this week. We will meet up in the Douglas Trail parking lot in Douglas on Thursdays and start the first rider at 6pm. Details are here. Hope to see you there.
We have one more Time Trial left in the spring series. It's tomorrow evening (May 26th) at 6pm in Douglas
We've started doing hill workouts. These are group bike workouts with repeats of a selected hill done at your own pace. This is a great way to kick off the outdoor riding season since even though you are riding at your own pace on the hill, we will all be on the same stretch of road should anyone need assistance. Info on the workouts is here.
