WHAT: 2009 RASC Time Trials
WHERE: Meet in Douglas at 75th & Douglas Trail (parking lot)
WHEN: 6pm for the next four Tuesdays

NOTE: WIN Multisports has REINSTATED the Treadman Duathlon scheduled for 9-5-09. ...It is no longer canceled... The RASC TT will continue as planned.

For all of you thinking of doing the Treadman duathlon this year, here is a great opportunity to tune-up on the course. For the second straight year, the RASC Time Trial Championships will be run on the 18.9 mile loop that will be used for the Treadman Duathlon on September 5, 2009. The time trial series dates for the 18.9 mile loop are Aug 4, Aug 11, and Aug 18. On Aug 25th there will be a 3.39 mile Hill TT which starts at the Douglas trail where it crosses in Douglas to the top of Genoa at CR 105. The way the results will be scored are as follows: everyone can race all three days for the 18.9 mile loop and one attempt at the Hill TT on August 25th. Your Hill TT time will be added to your two best times from the long course which will result in your overall time. You must complete two long course TT's plus the Hill TT for an overall ranking. Start times will be 6pm and go off in 30 second intervals. Vehicle parking is in Douglas at the Douglas Trail lot on 75th. There is no fee for the time trials, but you must be a member of one of the following to participate: RASC, TriRochester, WOW, VeloRochester.

Divisions:
- Men Aero
- Men Stock*
- Women Open** (aero & stock)

*an aero helmet or any aero add-ons to a stock bike such as aero bars, deep dish rims, etc, put you in the Men Aero division. However, this does not apply to the Hill TT. If you are in the stock div for the long courses you CAN use a TT bike or add-ons for the Hill TT. This is how its been done in the past.

** if we have at least 5 women that race stock and the same for aero that complete 2 long courses and the hill TT, we will split the division after the Hill TT. Otherwise, Women Open will remain one division.

Please note: The actual 2009 Treadman Duathlon will start/finish in Pine Island. The RASC TT's will follow what is essentially the same course only without the out-n-back section in Pine Island (see link below for Treadman course info).
